Assuming that solar panels are not connected to the network and run under the assumption of an average number of miles per year (eg 12000) and not talking about the battery, motor, series or other problems - but provided it is 100% electric (not hybrid), and assuming that many of the position of the sun, how many watts of solar power installed capacity is needed to power the car (see a car like the EV1 practice - not as the "cars" that they the World Solar Challenge race) w / o any other source?
